Sales Account Manager – Automotive

A leading semiconductor technology company is in need of an experienced Sales Account Manager to help drive sales growth with the Company’s power solutions. The company is leading this market segment, thanks to a wide product portfolio and more than 30 years of technological innovations. The candidate they are looking for will be part of a growing world class team to drive continued success in their core markets and help shape the future of high power SiC in automotive systems.

The Global Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of business growth and maintenance at the assigned strategic multinational automotive accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Position Company as a preferred strategic partner at assigned accounts
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders at assigned accounts
  • Develop annual business plans for each account detailing methods to deliver on long term and short-term revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate sales operational and performance data for opportunity pipelining, revenue forecasting and reporting
  • Partner with Company Product Marketing, Customer Service, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure total customer satisfaction


  • 10+ years selling semiconductor products, specifically in selling Power products/devices in the automotive industry
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills
  • Strong capabilities in strategy development and execution, relationship management and negotiating
  • Good technical understanding of Power products, systems and markets
  • Proven understanding of the automotive business relationship between OEM, Tier 1 and CEM
  • Ability to gain trust and respect from customers’ managerial and sales teams
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to balance personal goals with those of the broader organization


DEGREE:  BS in Electrical Engineering, MBA preferred

SALARY:  Base, plus bonus and car allowance

TRAVEL:  Ability to travel approximately 20%, including international
