CIGS Thin Film Engineer:

 

GroupSat Solar, a Global Leader in Solar CIGS technology is searching for a Copper Indium Gallium (Di) selenide (CIGS) Engineer for an international assignment. The successful incumbent will have experience with process optimization and integration to improve the performance of Thin Film Silicon CIGS cell devices.

 

Applicant must have experience in solar energy, CIGS, sun-to-electricity conversion efficiency, solar photovoltaic (PV) cells, and Thin Film Technology.   This position will work with a team of senior engineers to design the product line/equipment of the company and hire production engineers.

 

Job Specific Knowledge

· Applies extensive expertise as a specialist.

· Thorough knowledge of chemical, electrical, magnetic, material science, or mechanical concepts,                        techniques, and disciplines.

· Working knowledge of material characterization

· General knowledge of vacuum technology

· General knowledge of integrated circuit processing

· General knowledge of appropriate materials, components and technologies used in the thin film equipment industry

· Working understanding of product and business requirements.

Education

Master’s Degree or PhD in Chemical, Solid State Physics, Materials Science or related technical discipline, and 3+ years directly related experience, or equivalent is preferred.
Candidates with CIGS publications or patents are a PLUS.  Excellent leadership, presentation, oral, and written communication skills are required.

Previous work experience: process engineering experience in a development or manufacturing environment.

 

Full relocation (will not buy home in U.S. – but all accommodations will be taken care of at International location)

 

Base + Bonus negotiable
