Mark and Kathy founded On the Mark Recruiting Specialists, Inc in 2002. They bring over 30 years of combined experience recruiting in all facets of the automotive electronics Industry. As the world has changed so have we. We have refocused our efforts on the solar industry. Thanks to a CIGS manufacturer in China we have had a great deal of success in recruiting talent from around the world. It truly is an exciting time for us as we redirect our focus to a growing and dynamic industry.  Our foundation has and will always be the automotive industry, however our future is in Solar and we are embracing and enjoying the challenge. Kathy combines over 30 years experience in professional sales and client/customer relations with a strong knowledge of computer and software technology.  As General Manager of On the Mark Recruiting Specialists, Inc., Kathy’s role is challenging and diverse.  She manages our Administration, Accounting and IT departments and has also taken an active role in the Electronics Department in research, coordination of appointments and client/customer follow-up.

Kathy is chartered to maintain and upgrade our sophisticated cross-functional database while keeping pace with the latest trends in executive recruiting.   Combining experience, strong work ethic and the personality to build strong business relationships, has been invaluable in the success we have experienced together.

Before joining On the Mark in 2009, Mike worked in the semiconductor industry for 30 years.  During this time, Mike co-founded three integrated circuit design and sales centers.  The first of these was located in Hanau, Germany where Mike lived for 7 years and worked as an integrated circuit designer.  After another 7 years in Philadelphia working for Electronic Solutions, Mike moved to the Detroit area where he founded ELMOS NA, the North American office of ELMOS Semiconductor AG.

As alternately President and Vice President of Engineering of ELMOS NA, Mike has developed many contacts in the automotive electronics industry, as well as an extensive network within the German community.

Having been involved in three start-ups, Mike understands well the various roles in an organization and the importance of finding the right candidate at the right time to nurture a company’s growth.  He is looking forward to his new role as the global industry retools for the challenges of this time.
