A World Class manufacturer of automotive electronics is seeking an experienced Applications/Sales Engineer who is interested in a Business Development role. The ideal candidate would have 3 plus years in a Field Applications/Sales Engineer position supporting and designing next generation automotive electronics. The Business Development Engineer is the front line of the organization. You will use your technical skills to open doors and drive the technology for advanced electronics applications. The Company has products on just about every vehicle built in N.A.  You will be part of a team that is growing fast.  Listed below is a summary of the positon. Position summary:

  • The development of the solution requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of sales/business development principles, theories and concepts.
  • Formulates the solution for (technical) partial problems that cannot be found by combining previous experiences but by composing newly acquired sales/business development knowledge.
  • Verify and evaluate new LED business opportunities at Tier1 automotive customers.
  • May lead multi-disciplinary change projects in sales/business development, having to interface with a number of people globally.
  • Works independently and provides consultative advice within specific functional areas.
  • Introduces sales/business development methods/procedures that are new for the organization. Applies advanced sales/business development process principles to multiple tasks.

 

Degree:  Bachelor’s degree, prefer a technical degree

Salary:  Base plus bonus to $110k, leased car and excellent benefits
