A globally leading technology group is looking for a Key Account Manager & Team Lead for their Automotive Segment. The company is a family-owned portfolio company which traces its roots back to a pharmacy opened by the family in 1660. Today the company combines businesses in the environmental, energy, electronics, health, mobility and industrial applications sectors.

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead a team generating sales and total customer satisfaction by effectively presenting the advanced technologies and solutions that are available from the Company Electronics. Specifically, this position will be focusing on automotive tier one customers who are supplying components directly to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).  Experience in the electronic packaging industry for automotive components is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve budgeted sales revenue and agreed upon prices at responsible accounts. Develop and own opportunity funnel. Drive organization to meet the needs of the account, represents the voice of the customer within the Company.  Lead and develop team members to achieve results.
  • Develop and drive a credible and productive long-term relation at various levels and disciplines, in order to maximizing the value (top- and bottom-line) of the short & long term business with the account for the Company. Develop, coordinate and implement the Account Plan (executable), including tailored value proposition. Negotiate/generate agreement with each account, coordinate and drive Account, and Company promotion.
  • Responsible for the sales forecast and accuracy at the responsible accounts. Continually monitor markets, market requirements and modification of existing product line in the development of new equipment to meet changing market needs. Utilize CRM effectively through opportunity management to provide sales forecasts to the Regional Head of Sales on a monthly basis.
  • Reporting of market intelligence, competitive intelligence, forecasts, account plans and sales funnel on an account level.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include the selection, training and development, assigning work, and performance management of employees.

Requirements:

10+ years of technical sales experience with at least 2 years of experience leading a team is required.  Experience in the electronic packaging industry for automotive components is required.  Must have strong customer service orientation and communicate effectively both externally and internally.

Salary:  Base plus bonus (up to 25%), leased car and benefits

Degree:  BS degree in Business or Engineering related field
