Global Account Manager – Consumer Electronics

A Global Manufacturer of Electronics is seeking an Account Manager with a good understanding of Consumer Electronics – knowledge in the semiconductor smartphone industry and analog experience is desired.  This person will be responsible for supporting a Key Account and will own the entire Sales cycle from promotion, to design in and revenue.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting major account for Custom & Standard Products business.

Develops business relations by promoting Company image, product portfolio and application solutions.

Implements Sales strategy and ensures customer satisfaction.

Contributes to the development of the Sales figure and Sales/budget/market share for the product under direct responsibility.

Develops and recommends a comprehensive Sales plan regarding area of growth, defining market share, opportunities for new developments, resource requirement, and key target application fields.

Responsible for the Sales forecast and revenue.

Participates in presenting products and services that can benefit the customer’s needs.

Manages new projects being developed with both the customer and division and identifies new directions for partnership in collaboration with the Market Development/Product Marketing/Applications Engineering teams.

Responsible for complete understanding of the customer profile and customer base including key managers/personnel as well as SAM / TAM / BILLINGS / BOOKINGS.

Demonstrates knowledge of the competitors’ strengths and weaknesses with in depth knowledge on a subset of products under direct responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Reasonable comfort level with reading and writing detailed technical specifications.
  • Knowledge on main marketing KPIs and business analysis tools: SWOT analysis, forecast, budgeting, TAM and SAM and competition analysis
  • Ability to effectively contribute in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Marketing tools knowledge such as forecasting gap analysis & market research are a plus

DEGREE:  Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience.

SALARY:  Base plus bonus, car allowance and great benefits.
