Business Development Manager – E-Mobility (PND)

Position Description:

We have an immediate need for an experienced Business Development Manager – E-Mobility to expand Company’s growing business with their EV/EVSE smart charging solutions. You will:

  • Develop and implement business development plans to meet product line and sales goals.
  • Manage and expand business with key with key OEM/ Tier 1 customers; identifies needs to be filled and work with internal groups to fill these needs.
  • Proactively initiate customer contact on a regular basis to develop positive, long-term, business relationships.
  • Identify market potential by qualifying customers. Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products, processes, and services.
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and providing feedback from customers.
  • Identify, specify, and propose projects to assist customers integrating Company E-Mobility solutions into their processes.
  • Identify and facilitate support solutions for Company EV infrastructure products used by product developers and test engineers at OEM’s and suppliers.
  • Work with account management to follow opportunities through to a sale including issue resolutions, customer satisfaction, and product deliveries.
  • Conduct demonstrations and customer workshops to promote Company E-Mobility solutions within customer organizations.
  • Participate at industry conferences and conduct demonstrations to promote Company E-Mobility products within customer organizations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven track record developing and closing business opportunities.
  • 5+ years of experience in vehicle networking, test system design/development and delivery of test systems
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and test systems along with charging communication for CCS and MCS.
  • Knowledge of GBT and CHAdeMO standards desirable
  • Knowledge of C/C++/C#/Python is desirable.
  • Knowledge of OEM/Tier1 EV/EVSE development and testing process.
  • Previous experience with Company tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CAPL, vTESTstudio, VT System) is desirable.
  • Clear and concise, oral and written communication skills with peers, management and customers
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a sense of urgency to meet and exceed customer expectations.                                                                                 

Degree:  B.S. in EE/SE/CE/CS or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience

Travel:  Ability to travel to customer sites as necessary (30% to 50%)
