We are partnered with a global leader and manufacturer of Electronic sensing devices that is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer (AQE) to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ plus years of experience working in an automotive quality environment, preferably automotive electronics.

The Company has gone through some resent changes that will help propel them to lots of growth over the coming years. As the AQE you will work with a global team to help develop a best in class quality organization. Because the company is small and growing you will wear many hats on a daily bases.


  • Represent the customer for quality topics within the organization
  • Responsible for managing quality assurance activities during customer project development
  • Support departments with customer quality issues after launch
  • Internal relationships: Plant Quality Assurance, Global Quality Services, Production, E-Lab, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Advanced Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Assurance, Material Development, Quality Management, Engineering, Program Management, Sales
  • External relationships: Customers, Suppliers, Development partners, Certification Bodies



  • Good knowledge in automotive quality processes and quality tools
  • Strong problem solving, failure analysis, and analytical skills
  • German and/or French languages are an asset
  • Experience in Lean and 6 Sigma and project management is a plus
  • Auditor skills and SPICE assessment skills are an asset
  • Good understanding of sensor systems and interactions a plus
  • Willingness to travel



  • Lead quality activities of projects during development including PPAP preparation and presentation
  • Lead quality activities for investigations and complaint handling of 0KM and warranty returns, including documentation, analysis, and contact with customer
  • Provide support to manufacturing and plant quality
  • Provide support during internal and external audits
  • Identify potentials for improvement systematically and implement improvements by using common quality problem solving methods
  • Key contact for early notification of customer, field quality issues
  • Support implementation of standards and procedures
  • Maintain internal and customer based tracking systems and portals
  • Assure quality plans and activities to support customer quality and gate reviews
  • Ensure that processes are followed as defined; improve the processes whenever beneficial for Company, given that requirements are fulfilled according international standards


Degree:  BSEE degree desired

Salary:  Base plus benefits
